October 14-16, 2025 – III Session of Belarusian-Chinese Association of Universities was held in Minsk. Being a full member of the Association, BSTU took part in the event.

The opening session took place in Belarusian State Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War. In the run-up to the plenary session the parties signed a Declaration on Intensification of Cooperation in the field of Higher Education between Belarus and China. The event also featured a ceremony of signing cooperation agreements between Association members. BSTU signed two Memoranda of Understanding – with Inner Mongolia University of Technology and Jiangnan University – thus expanding the list of its partner universities in China.? ? ? ?

As a follow-up of the memoranda signed the delegations of the mentioned Chinese universities paid a visit to BSTU on October 15. Andrei Hauryliuk, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs touched upon the key milestones of BSTU history, gave a detailed presentation of the educational programmes of the University and outlined the most promising areas of future collaboration of the parties. The delegations visited the exhibition of BSTU research developments where they had the opportunity to explore the innovative products developed by our scholars.

The parties agreed to develop cooperation in a wide array of areas, including academic exchange, preparation of joint publications, participation in science and technology events, professional development programmes in such field as landscape architecture, chemical technology, industrial design, biotechnology, environmental protection, materials science, artificial intelligence.?
